What is delivered, and when
- Fast-Start Pack
- 50 withheld tasks in the domain group you pick, sealed reference answers, the offline scorer, one sealed dataset of 100,000 runs, a one-page Verification Certificate. $9,500.
- V&V Evidence Kit
- The issued MIL-STD-3022 V&V Plan and Report as a worked template, with blank templates; signed answers on up to 200 test points you name; the signed SBOM and SLSA provenance; a 90-minute session on your VV&A plan. $9,500.
Within 1 business day of payment clearing, John Kruze sends a kickoff email that names the delivery date. Within 2 business days of payment clearing, the delivery link arrives. The 90-minute session is held on a date the buyer picks from the kickoff email.
Payment
Two ways. Pay now by card or ACH through the payment link on the offer page: paid on receipt. Or request an invoice: it is due net 15, in US dollars, and a W-9 and the capability statement come with it. Prices are fixed and include delivery.
Delivery
By email: a download link restricted to the buyer’s address. The email body carries the archive’s SHA-384 line (for the kit, the signing key’s fingerprint too), so the buyer verifies the files against a value that did not travel with them. Everything verifies offline, with no account and no connection to us.
Acceptance
Delivery is accepted when the files verify against the hash, seals and signatures stated in the delivery email. If a file does not verify, tell us in writing within 10 business days of delivery and we replace it within 2 business days. With no written notice in those 10 business days, the delivery stands accepted.
Late delivery
If the delivery link is not sent within 2 business days of payment clearing, the buyer may cancel and receive a full refund of the price, at any time before the link arrives.
Withheld tasks stay withheld
The buyer keeps the withheld tasks and their reference answers confidential and limits access to employees and contractors who need them and are bound in writing to keep them confidential. They go into no public benchmark, dataset, repository or model card.
The tasks are generated for one buyer. Protocol Company does not publish them and does not sell them again. It keeps every right in the engine and the method, and the right to generate other tasks and datasets, including on the same physical models.
The data licence
On payment, Protocol Company grants the buyer a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use what is delivered for its internal purposes: training, evaluation and testing of its own systems, and its own engineering work.
Training. The buyer may train its own models on the data. The weights are the buyer’s. The data itself is not published, sold, sublicensed or otherwise redistributed, in original or modified form, and the weights are not used to reproduce it verbatim.
Term. The licence to a delivered pack or kit is perpetual. The monthly withheld refresh is a subscription, month to month, cancelled by email before the next billing date; the tasks of each month already delivered stay licensed on these terms. A licence ends only on a material breach of this page left uncured 30 days after written notice; the buyer then deletes the delivered data.
The V&V Evidence Kit in your deliverable. For the kit, internal use includes delivering it, as part of the V&V evidence of the program the buyer names, to that program’s government customer and its reviewers.
Open software. The scorer, the verifying programs and the engine’s source are public under Apache-2.0. This licence governs the data, the tasks, the answers and the documents only.
Federal buyers
For federal buyers, the standard commercial-item clauses apply: FAR 52.212-4 and DFARS 252.227-7015. Other clauses that the buyer’s prime contract requires to flow down apply by mutual written agreement. The data and documents are commercial technical data, and the programs are commercial computer software, delivered with the rights on this page only (FAR 12.212; DFARS 227.7102 and 227.7202).
What we warrant
The delivered files match the hash, seals and signatures stated in the delivery email. Every answer and record carries a proof the buyer can recompute. Each model’s range, fit and gap are stated in its description. Beyond that, what is delivered is offered as it is: it is a calculation, not professional engineering advice, and it certifies no real thing.
Protocol Company’s total liability under an order is the price paid for it. Neither side is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss.
Governing law
The law of the State of Nevada governs these terms. Venue is the state and federal courts in Clark County, Nevada. This page and the order are the whole agreement on their subject.
